Cutting out a projective equivalence class

Abstract

Projective equivalences are natural and classically studied operations on various objects in geometry. In this talk, I will describe a set of polynomials whose zero locus is the closure of a given projective equivalence class of n vectors in r-space. Connections to matroids and various projective invariants will be highlighted. This is joint work with Alex Fink.
