Our repertoire is jazz. Many songs we perform are standards, some old, some much more recent. We take particular pleasure in finding songs you may never have heard before, and that includes originals, by Peter Webb. We like every song we perform and we hope you do too! Our style is influenced by careful listening, which is the aspect of jazz that we find most exciting and interesting.
Playing locally, it is really special that our friends come out to hear us. It's like having open house with people we know dropping in and Sweet Jazz providing the music. Performance is something special and draws from us that little extra ingredient which goes beyond our rehearsals. To have our friends sitting close only adds to the experience.
Based in Northfield, Minnesota, you can hear us regularly in local public places. We are also available for parties, celebrations and other events!
