HOTEL INFORMATION 

AFTER MARCH 22nd, participants can get a room for $66.09 (including tax) 
per night at the Days Inn, 2407 University Avenue SE, Minneapolis. This 
hotel is walking distance to the conference location. To get the $66.09 
University rate, call the Days Inn at (612) 623-9303 or (612) 623-4262.  
Do not call their 800 number. Mention the School of Mathematics and the 
conference when you make your reservation. Call Kathy Swedell at the 
School of Mathematics (612-626-7422) if you have trouble obtaining the 
University rate.

An alternative is the Radisson Metrodome Hotel, though our negotiated rate
has expired. The hotel is at 615 Washington Avenue S.E., two blocks closer 
to the conference location than the Days Inn, and their telephone number 
is (612) 379-8888.


TAXI AND OTHER GROUND TRANSPORTATION
*Express Shuttle/Coach USA:   $13.00 one-way, $21.00 round-trip. 
After collecting your luggage, proceed to the ground transportation center, 
located one level below baggage claim. You may stop at the customer service 
counter if you have any questions or proceed to the loading area, following 
the signs for scheduled vans and taxis. Express Shuttle/Coach USA departs 
the airport every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour between 6:00AM and 
11:00PM, seven days a week. It stops at other hotels, so the trip will not 
be as fast as a taxi. The return trip to the airport departs from the hotel 
at 35 minutes past the hour; again, the van may stop at other hotels along 
the way. Call 612-827-7777 to make a reservation for the return trip (they
do not take reservations for the trip from the airport to the hotel).

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO RADISSON HOTEL FROM AIRPORT
Leaving the airport, follow signs to Minneapolis.  Take 62 West (also called 
Crosstown) to 35W North.  Stay on 35W, keep right and take the U of MN 3rd 
Street Exit. Follow the signs that read East Bank. You will be on Washington 
Avenue South, which crosses the Mississippi river. Take a left on Harvard 
Street. The Radisson will be on your right.
