Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU)

Summer 2002 REU

Eligibility: Undergraduate students from universities and colleges may apply.

Stipend: Each participant in the program will be paid a stipend of (at least) $2,700 for an 8-week project. The dates are now firm: 24 June - 16 Aug, 2002. Dorm room and meal-plan expenses will be subtracted directly from student stipends. We will have reserved a block of dormitory rooms as one easy and relatively inexpensive choice for housing and meals.

Summer 2001 REU

In summer 2001 we offered a program of opportunities for undergraduate students to work with faculty on research projects in a variety of topics in pure and applied mathematics. Information about 2000's program follows 2001's.

Eligibility: Undergraduate students from universities and four-year colleges may apply.

Stipend: Each participant in the program will be paid a stipend of (at least) $2,500 for an 8-week project, tentatively 4 June - 30 July, 2001. Room and board expenses will be paid for by each student from their stipend. We will have reserved a block of dormitory rooms as one easy and relatively inexpensive choice for housing and meals.
