A group of rooms at a reduced rate of $129 plus tax is being held for conference participants until March 15th. It is very important to reserve by that date. A major convention takes place in the city over the weekend of the colloqium and hotel space might be tight. The guidelines for financial support will be adjusted (and the total amount increased) to accommodate the higher-than-anticipated cost of lodging.

There is very convenient public transportation from the airport to the hotel.  You can take the light rail train from the main airport in the direction of downtown Minneapolis.  Get off the train at the downtown (Metrodome) station.   
Here you transfer to a bus at 4th Street and Chicago.  You then have the option of taking any of the following buses:
