5xxx and 8xxx-level Courses 2007-08

Archive:
                  5xxx, 8xxx-level courses 2006-07
                  5xxx, 8xxx-level courses 2005-06

SCHEDULE FOR 5XXX AND 8XXX-LEVEL COURSES 2008-09 ARE PENDING.

In general, unless otherwise specified, the person listed as contact is the most likely to teach the course, but this isn't guaranteed. The words "contact only" indicate that the person involved has not asked to teach the course, but has agreed to be the main contact until a decision is made on an instructor.

Departmental policy is that we can offer up to 20 8xxx courses each semester, and, to go beyond 20 requires agreement of DGS, DUGS and department head. The notes that read "count" have to do with keeping track of the 8xxx courses which we expect to teach.

This site is tentative and may change at any time.
