The Minnesota Education Corps is currently looking for several hundred math tutors and over 1,000 literacy tutors to work with children who need extra support to succeed in school. Many of our tutors are U of M grads looking to make an impact on the lives of kids, while reaping the benefits of a year of solid career experience and financial awards which can be used towards student loans or further education. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis for the August 2013-July 2014 service year. Please see Minnesota Math Corps. |
The Math Club meets most Thursdays of the semester at 12:20 pm in Vincent 570.
The Math Club is open to all undergraduate students in mathematics; students from other programs are also welcome. The goal of the club is to provide a forum for students to meet and discuss issues of common interest, such as careers in mathematics, research, graduate school, academic concerns, internship opportunities, scholarships, special lectures and summer programs.
