RIVIÈRE -FABES SYMPOSIUM

The fourth annual Rivière-Fabes Symposium on Analysis and PDE will be held here on April 20 - 22, 2001. Professors Daniel Stroock (MIT) and Robert Fefferman (Chicago) will give two lectures each. The other main speakers are Professors P. Daskalopoulos (UC Irvine), Steve Hoffman (University of Missouri, Columbia, Marius Mitrea (University of Missouri, Columbia), and Terence Tao (UCLA). The lectures will be held Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday morning. A dinner for the participants is scheduled for Saturday evening. The organizing committee consists of Professor C. Kenig (Chicago), and Professors N. Jain, N. Krylov, W. Littman, F. Reitich and M. Safonov (Chair) of the School of Mathematics.
