Note: In Spring 2011, I gave three midterms, instead of my usual two. The first was a precalculus midterm, given in the second week, to test course readiness.

Part of the goal was to analyze the effect of readiness on course performance. You can read about the results by clicking here.

Keep in mind that, because of that extra "readiness" midterm, the second midterm in Spring 2011 is roughly comparable to the first midterm in other semesters. Similarly, the third midterm in Spring 2011 is roughly comparable to the second midterm in other semesters.
