“Fredholm Theory in Polyfolds”

Abstract:
Polyfolds are a very general class of nonlinear spaces with possibly varying dimensions. Neverthless a nonlinear smooth Fredholm theory can be developed. This framework applies in particular to Floer Theory, Contact Homology, Gromov-Witten Theory, and Symplectic Field Theory.
