Homework V

The fifth homework is due Thursday, October 17th, recitation time. If you cannot make it to the recitation, please let me know beforehand (by email or in person after the class on Tuesday).

The homework consists of the following five problems from the third chapter and an extra Theory Problem:

Chapter 3: 4.5 e), 4.5 i), 5.5., 5.6 a), 5.6 g) Theory Problem: Prove that a sequence of positive numbers converges to zero if and only if the sequence of reciprocals converges to infinity.
