Welcome to Math 3283W!

This page is mainly for the benefit of students in section 11 of Math 3283W (Fall 2006). The lecturer for these sections is Wayne Richter. My name is Dan Swenson, and I'm the TA. Dr. Richter's info is on the syllabus (go to his webpage), and here is my info:

Email (the best way to contact me): dswensonmath . umn . edu

Website (you're looking at it): http://www.math.umn.edu/~dswenson/3283

Office: Vincent Hall, room 552.

Office phone: (612) 624-5552. My office is room 552, and my office phone ends in 552. Freaky...

My office hours are: Monday 12:20-1:10, Wednesday 1:25-2:15, Friday 10:10-11:00

If my office hours don't work for you, you can always set an appointment: send me an email and suggest some times that would work for you. Also, you may wish to consider Prof. Richter's office hours (listed on the syllabus). Or if it's not our office hours but you just can't wait to talk about math, you can also walk in to Lind Hall, room 150, and demand to see a math tutor. Well, actually you'll have to take a number.

I'm posting links to the syllabus and assignment schedule here, and other things:
