Thanks to everyone who voted for Joe "Chairman" Mauer to represent the American League in this year's All-Star Game. He finished a close second to Detroit's Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, and was selected as a reserve.
But we're not done yet! Minnesota's Francisco "the Kid" Liriano still has a chance to make it. His statistics are staggering--as I'm writing this, he is 9-1 with a league-leading 1.99 ERA (second in the AL is Twins All-Star Johan Santana, at 2.59). Check out Liriano's up-to-date stats, and then vote. Hurry, voting ends July 6 at 5 pm CT. (You can vote up to 25 times.)
