I am a
McKnight Land Grant Assistant Professor of
Mathematics at the
University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
My research involves the formulation of mathematical
theories of population dynamics and evolution, using the tools of
stochastic processes and numerical PDE. I am particularly
interested in developing
mathematical models to understand the evolutionary processes driving
cancer initiation and progression, with the ultimate goal of utilizing
these models to design better prevention and treatment strategies.
