I got my bachelor's degree in mathematics from the Facultad de Matematicas of the UNIVERSIDAD VERACRUZANA in Xalapa-Veracruz in 1993. After that I decided to move to Mexico City where I studied the master in applied mathematics at the Department of Mathematics of the Center of Research and Advanced Studies of the National Politecnic Institute CINVESTAV-IPN.
Now I am a graduate student in the Ph.D. program of applied mathematics with emphasis in Industrial Mathematics at the
Math Department of the University of Minnesota. This program is administered in part by the Minnesota Center for Industrial Mathematics MCIM.
My main interests are partial differential equations, mathematical modelling and the applications of numerical methods to electromagnetism and fluid dynamics.
My advisor is Fernando Reitich
Profesor Asociado at the Superior School of Computing of the National Politechnic Institute ESCOM-IPN, teaching the courses: Mathematical Methods, Multivariable Differential and Integral Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations.
Profesor de Catedra at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Advanced Studies ITESM-CEM teaching: Calculus and College Algebra.
As a TA at the University of Minnesota I have taught:
MATH 3251 Multivariable Differential Calculus.
MATH 3252 Multivariable Integral Calculus.
MATH 1131 Finite Mathematics.
