Abstract

The Auslander-Reiten Quiver of a finite dimensional algebra is a very useful combinatorical invariant allowing us to explore algebraic information about the module category. It gives a lot of important information such as homomorphisms and extensions between two modules, and the representation type of this algebra. The Riedtmann Structure Theorem describes the structure of this quiver.
