• Getting Help:
  • Attend a review on Vector Algebra on Monday of the second class week (regular lecture time and room; you may attend it with the other lecture section).
  • Use help, such as Homework Hints, Exam Study Guides and Sample Questions, available on our WebVista class page.
  • Go to your TA or lecturer's office and lab hours.
  • Send questions or comments to your TA or lecturer via e-mail.
  • Call your TA or lecturer up.
  • Use http://www.exambot.com.
  • Search for Calculus IV, Multivariable Calculus, etc. exams on the web from other instructors and schools. Calculus is pretty much the same throughout the world.
  • Get Mathematica for free for your personal computer. Note that the labs are compatible with version 6 of Mathematica, not necessarily with previous versions

Labs

The lab exercises are all Mathematica notebooks. Your TA will show you how to download these files to your home directory. Directions are also included on the first-lab-day handout.

• Starting with Lab 2B, load math2374.nb before using the labs.
• These grading guidelines for lab exercises will help you understand what we expect for your lab assignments.
