Information about exams
GENERAL INFORMATION (VALID FOR ALL 3 MIDTERM EXAMS)
- If you take the exam at 5:00pm, you must stay until 6:00pm (unless you
get an exemption beforehand)
- Calculators are allowed (graphing calculators are fine).
- You may take one-half of a 8.5" by 11" sheet of paper of notes (double-sided
is OK).
MATERIAL COVERED IN EACH MIDTERM EXAM
- 1st midterm: Chapters 1 and 2 (excluding sections 1.4 and 2.2)
- 2nd midterm: Section 3.1, Chapters 4 and 5, Sections 7.1-7.2 and 8.1
- 3rd midterm: Sections 1.4, 6.1-6.2, 7.3-7.6 and 8.2-8.3
- Final exam: Everything covered for the three midterms, plus
Sections 3.2, 3.3 and 8.4.
SECOND MIDTERM

Date: Wednesday, November 11
Rooms: Willey Hall 175, on the West Bank Campus
Hours: 5:00pm to 6:00pm or 6:10pm to 7:10pm
Material covered: Section 3.1, Chapters 4 and 5, Sections 7.1-7.2 and 8.1
