Wednesday, February 5, 3:30 PM, VinH 209 Ernie Kalnins, University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand Title: Coulomb-oscillator duality in spaces of constant curvature Abstract: We discuss the generalizations to spheres of the Levi-Civita, Kustaanheimo-Stiefel and Hurwitz regularizing transformations in Euclidean spaces of dimensions 2, 3 and 5. These transformations relate classical and quantum mechanical analogues of the Kepler-Coulomb problem to analogues of the oscillator problem.
