The IMA is hosting iPAWS in an effort to bring together researchers from various fields who are interested in imaging and vision. This seminar began as a joint venture between Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics. As the semester moves on, we also hope to involve researchers from Psychology, Radiology, and Neuroscience.
The goals of iPAWS are precisely those of the IMA:
Unless otherwise noted, all talks are Thursday 12:20 - 1:10 in Lind 409. Lind Hall is located on the East Bank of the Minneapolis campus. Significantly in both a physical and ideological sense, Lind Hall is located halfway between the math building Vincent Hall and the EE/CS building. Garage parking is available in the nearby Church St. Garage for an hourly fee. More visitor information can be found at the IMA Visitor Information Site.
If you are visiting the University of Minnesota and you are interested in attending or speaking at iPAWS,
you can contact the seminar organizer Todd Wittman
at wittman@math.umn.edu.
Under certain circumstances, the IMA may be able to assist with travel and lodging arrangements.
